Eco-friendly Online Printing Options

There was a day when printing was just using piece of paper after piece of paper and printing away with no concern for the environment. But that is a thing of the past. Now with many companies making the change to green, new printing options are in heavily available. Paper you use is now around 75% or more recycled. The ink is vegetable-based and the cartridge it came in may even be partially recycled.  

Using eco-friendly paper has its’ advantages. It prevents more trees from being cut down. Since fewer trees cut down, it is over all better for the environment. The old standard of ink has changes too. Now there is soy-based ink just to name one form of ink that is eco-friendly.

While using eco-friendly paper is much better for the environment, it is definitely more expensive to get. Companies and consumers have to pay a little extra because of the process of getting the paper to where it can be reused. But it does seems like it is worth the added cost to be more eco-friendly.

There doesn’t seem to be a whole lot of reason not to go with eco-friendly printing. It just doesn’t cost a whole lot extra. It takes a little more effort, but it has proven to be worth it. When you look online, you’ll notice that most companies have gone eco-friendly in at least one way (re-using paper at least), and they frequently mention so in their advertising.

Eco-friendly printing companies print everything from documents, cards, calendars, and brochures to business cards and more. The paper remains top quality and very professional, yet much better for the environment. Eco-friendly printing is so top-notch; it is equal to better than your typical printing that was once toxic for the environment.

Even the transportation of eco-friendly products is done using fuel that is better for the environment.  A lot of companies use vegetable fuel for their company vehicles. This includes the process of making the paper eco-friendly, bringing the paper to and from the company, and the vehicles that brings the ink and other eco-friendly printing materials. Vegetable fuel is more difficult to come by and it also costs more for the cars, but makes the company look more responsible and concerned for the environment.

All of this makes people more likely to use the eco-friendly printing service when they see that all or even part of the printing company is eco-friendly. It is a great form of advertising to mention it right on the companies’ website.
